I’m a 30-something year old female who lives with her husband in the middle of the woods. I met him just as he started his divorce but had nothing to do with him leaving…if there is any misconception there. With all these struggles we’ve been through it’s only brought us closer. He’s a truly remarkable guy that I really admire and he’s the most wonderful father I’ve ever met. We bought our first house in July of 2006.

Manly Man

Meet Manly Man, my husband and the best person I know on the entire planet. He’s so funny, smart and a truly wonderful human being. He’s 10 years older than me but very young at heart and he keeps me sane, which is no small task.

Aurora

Meet Aurora, our eldest furkid with a personality the size of Texas. When we first got her she was an intimidating little kitty who at one point we considered renaming her Lucy-Fur. We named her after the Foo Fighters song Aurora “I just kinda died for you, you just kinda stared at me.” Aurora likes to fetch elastics and straws and she responds to her name. You’ll only receive love from her if she feels you deserve it…or if you have treats.

Pilot

Meet Pilot, our little boy and our youngest furkid. We got him from an animal shelter when we decided Aurora might need a friend to play with. Pilot keeps to himself and only really likes to play with balled up pieces of paper. He’s the snuggler of the furkids and will beg for love when he feels the need. He’s very sneaky and if you aren’t careful he’ll sneak out the door when you open it.

I love movies and my favorite tv shows…I will not apologize for that. I’m very opinionated about movies and will argue my point for as long as it takes. My Kevin is the man, no question about that.

Miscellaneous

On my blog you will learn a lot about me because I’m a very honest person who tends to wear her heart on her sleeve. I’m emotional but I’m still tough. I’m often a dark cloud with a silver lining most of the time. I have anxiety issues along with what seems to be a little bit of ADD but I actively work hard to make progress with myself. I go to therapy and every single day I try to make improvements. I’m a hopeless romantic and love songs often make me cry.
