Stalled

I’ve heard about it but honestly didn’t think much of it…until it happened to me. I initially hoped it was TOM (Time Of the Month) but then I started kinda freaking out because the weight still wasn’t moving a week later. Then I looked online and found out it’s really common in the first month or 2 to have a weight stall.

So I decided to stop obsessing over the scale and just do what I need to do to stay healthy. I was weighing myself every day because it’s really hard not to do when you are losing a pound or so every single day. I’ve decided I’m only weighing myself once a week because every day is insane.

I celebrated my Onederland last week only to have it go back up 3 lbs and stay there. So I suppose I’ll have to celebrate getting to the 100s again. I have however found that I’ve lost 4 inches from my waist, which is kind of more exciting I think.

I have to keep reminding myself that this journey is slow, even if sometimes the weight comes off fast. I just have to keep the faith and focus on the goal of being a healthier and happier me. The scale is just a small part of this story of mine.
