Getting On My Green Monster
Made a deal with my co-worker we’d both make a Green Monster for the morning. We even took a trip to Trader Joe’s at lunch to pick up some extra stuff. I gave her some tips about making spinach ice cubes and then we thought also you could do that with almond milk probably.
So I prepared my Monster before I went to bed last night and here is what I put together:
- 3 cups spinach (spinach ice cubes to be exact)
- 1 cup pineapple
- 2 cups bananas
- 2 cups (or rather just a whole can) of coconut milk
- Flax seed
- Vanilla protein powder
All my fruit is in my freezer, I even cut up my bananas fresh and put them in the freezer so I can make this whenever I want and not panic trying to make it before stuff goes bad. Anyway, the result, it was perfect and delicious.
