Oh Crap

So I was watching Big Bang Theory (actually I was watching last week’s again before watching the new one) and I was thinking about how I rarely ever know what any of them are talking about. Then I thought about how I don’t usually know what Manly Man is going on about or Gwen for that matter. There is a reason why they both have to translate each other for me.

As I was watching BBT I was noticing how Penny never gets them, although I will admit she knows a lot less than me as I know who Stan Lee and Adam West is, thankyouverymuch. But I realized that Penny hangs around a bunch of geeks and rarely knows what they are talking about.

Oh shit.

I’m Penny.

    But look at it from my point of view. I understand most of what they say and “get” much of the imagery of whats in the background (or why leonard has a particular comic in his hand at the store).

    @Gary LaPointe, but see, I think that’s cool. i have so many friends that are geeks but i’m always left confused as to what is going on.
