The Have Nots

So I was thinking this morning about all the cool things everyone else has that I don’t, because yeah…I’m all sunshine and lollipops.

Video Games: We have none, zero, zilch. As a couple we’ve never owned a video game system. Actually I think someone gave us a really old one for free once but we never even hooked it up. I’m not sure we’d play it if we even had one but the point is, we’re one of the only people without a video game thingy.

iPhone: No iPhone, I think I am the last on the planet. Either this means I’m a loser or it means I’m so extra special I don’t need one.

Proper Photography Computer Programs: I don’t have Lightbox or the newest PS or anything really that can do anything interesting with my photos. I have an ancient photoshop and I use Picasa, which is free.

Webcam: I never thought I’d really want one but it might come in handy from time to time, especially when chatting with Gwen and she’s on her webcam but can’t see us, it doesn’t really work right that way.

Energy: I go through phases where I have lots of energy and I have none, I usually blame either the weather or my commute or both. Right now it’s both.

@Amanda, you are always there to make me feel normal, aren’t you?

I have an iPod touch, but no iPhone. And I agree. You need a web cam. It’s not fair that you can see my boobies and I can’t see yours.

@Gwen, we’ll have to look into getting one somehow…

My cell phone is work issued, my Nintendo was the first one made (hand-me-down from K), and I have one game for it, I’ve never used the webcam that came in my computer, & *just* got PS.

@Tug, oh sure, maybe me look like the spoiled one.

I have video games, but only because I have 3 children and a grandchild.

I don’t have an iPhone. Don’t want one. Tried a friends’ and it’s just not for me. I love my Blackberry Curve.

I have photoshop 7. Is that new? I use Flickr and it’s Picnic works pretty well for what you need to change in a photo.

I have a webcam on my laptop, but I’ve never used it and I have no idea how to. It just came with the laptop.

I don’t have any energy either. Has to do with my autoimmune disease.

    We’re more alike than different.

      @Shelli, this is true.

I think you’re the opposite of me- lol. Errr, well except I’ve never had an iPhone or energy either. (No iPhone cause macs and such suck ass for gamers like myself).

@christie, no iphone and no energy is more than enough to have in common i think.

My husband got me into videogames and now I can’t stop playing them! Its crazy!

I don’t have an i-Phone either and prefer to think I’m also ‘special’ for not needing one. (Although it would be nice to watch TV shows during my hour commute back and fourth)

@Pauline, the one game I’d like to play if I could would be something like Mario Cart.
