I’ve Got Kugel Spirit

Chanukah: So not only did I light candles for every single night this year (I haven’t done that in years), not only am I having a Chanukah dinner but we are making brisket and sweet kugel. I’m going full Jew this year, watch out.

Cable: Along with all the holiday spirit I’m trying to downgrade our cable, for now we got rid of the premium package but somehow I got a deal to keep our phone and get Showtime for a year. I don’t know why they just won’t let me get rid of my landline? It’s like they are crack dealers and this is what keeps us hooked. I really just want to get rid of it.

Equipment: My brain is on my camera lately and not on much of anything else. I am trying to decide what step to take next and luckily Jen has been really helpful. Do I want to get lighting/background equipment, a lens (so expensive) or something like photoshop? I have photoshop but it’s a really really old version, which is almost useless. I really want to take some classes but with  my commute it’s almost impossible, unless I take an online course. I would love to do that. Also my laptop is nearing retirement at about 5 years old.

Hair: I finally got my hair cut after like 4 months and decided to get bangs again. The bangs are fine, the haircut is not. The haircut is ok when you spend 20 minutes with a hairdryer but it’s still not at all what I wanted. Even worse, if I don’t spend all that time fixing it up my hair looks something like this:

I can only pray to the high heavens my hair grows out quickly, I want to curl up and die.
