- Gwen actually asked me if she could go see the NBSS in Boston, which just so happens to be where my husband went to school for training. How random is that??
- Nothing really phases her, not Boston traffic or porn books or Aurora.
- Both Manly Man and Gwen do great accents, which they did basically the entire time we were at a cafe Friday night. If only I’d had a video camera.
- At the movies on Friday seeing The Men Who Stare At Goats there were obnoxious teenagers making commentary that were very close to being punched by one of us and a woman in front of us texting. Who pays $10 to see a movie and then not watch the fucking movie??
- Gwen really is a great cook, she made us these noodles and california rolls. Today she’ll make us little pies.
- She’s way easy going to the point that she just doesn’t care either way, Manly Man is often the same way. Can you guess who makes most of the decisions?
- We did in fact giggle everytime Kevin Spacey came on screen during the movie.

Sounds like you two (you three) had a wonderful time. Yet another Internet romance success. YES! Al Gore will be proud! :-) Glad the movie turns out to be awesome too. But you two probably wouldn’t care even if it sucked major ass. Then of course any movie with Kevin in would not suck major ass according to the two of you. Ok. I am in a tautology hell. Get me out of here!

@submom, it was a success! Kevin is always awesome but not every movie he’s in is awesome. he can’t help if the movie sucks but he never sucks.

I could write a book about all the assholes who go to movies nowadays and act obnoxiously.
Combined with the ridiculous ticket and concession stand prices, its enough to make you want to watch everything at home!
Our local movie theater is cheap – $5. The one 14 miles away is $4.50. It’s a conspiracy to get you in the door so you will spend $9 on fucking popcorn that cost them 7 cents to make.
Sounds like a good time!
