You Should Know

  • While I am always changing my blog themes, blog addresses, etc. I have had the same screename “hismuse” for like 6+ years now. Sometimes I want to change it just because I’m bored with it but then I realize I’ve made it mine and you can’t do that often online.
  • The end is near for Blanket Part Deux and I am not sure what to do. Is it weird to consider hunting down Part Tres? Surprisingly the only security blankets online are baby blankets.
  • I am on too many medications. I am treating like 5 different things right now. My therapist wanted me to try to go back on an anti-depressant or an anti-anxiety but I decided to go back on my ADD medicaition instead. Turns out I think around the time I went off that medication is when my weight spiked up. When will I learn? If things are working stick with what…you know…works!
  • It’s been one year since Ireland and this makes me sad, I miss it.
  • I am currently helping my husband, my brother and my mother with their own blogs. Surprisingly my mother seems to have caught on the quickest. Do any of them pay me for my expertise? Of course not. Oh and it’s surprisingly hard to explain the difference between posts and pages.
  • I’ve been putting so much emotional energy into my health blog that I don’t have much to say here but I hope this will change soon. Over there I might have deep/meaningful things to say but I have to have somewhere to be offensive and opinionated.

You’re a good person for showing them how to make/run a blog. I don’t even have the patience to show my parents how to even use a PC, let alone start a blog!

I helped a friend set up a blog recently. You’re right — explaining the difference between posts and pages isn’t as easy as you might think.

I recommend replacing the anti-depressants with booze.

I like “hismuse” – it’s how I differentiate you from the million other Robins out there. Well that and the dry sarcastic wit.
