The Movie: Seven Pounds
The Basics: A man (Will Smith) is who decides to change the lives of seven people. One of those people he decides to help is Emily (Rosario Dawson) who has a heart condition but he also falls in love with her. I should note that I started this movie about 7 minutes in so I don’t know if I missed anything important.
The Good: Will Smith, in my opinion, is just about always great. He’s got this great mixture of dramatic and comedic that seems to always be prevalent. He was charming and just wonderful to watch on screen. His chemistry with Dawson worked extraordinarily well. The movie itself was great, I enjoyed it and wanted to know where it was going, although I had a rought idea pretty early on of the direction it was going. I did however cry like a baby at the end but I always cry.
The Bad: Did this movie thrill me to the bones? No. Did something always feel missing somehow? Yes, but I can’t pinpoint it. Was the ending a little on the dramatic side? Yeah, it was.
