Vomit Free Since 2002

Yeah I stole this idea from How I Met Your Mother, bite me. Also, it doesn’t rhyme like it did when he said vomit free since 93.

I hate throwing up. I know everyone hates it but I am like petrified of it. When I am sick to my stomach I don’t vomit to feel better, I would rather suffer. I won’t tell you what happened when I had the flu once and avoided throwing up.

ps. You can’t avoid throwing up, when it’s going to happen it happens.

But seriously, it’s been almost 8 years since the last time I threw up and I’m extremely proud of this. I haven’t been drunk enough since then, it just hasn’t happened.

The last time I got sick was my 24th birthday. We all went out to Boston to see Janeane Garofalo stand up and then go dancing. I drank way too much, kissed a random stranger and then threw up the rest of the night. I have not done it since.

Of course, now that I’ve said this I’m sure I’ll hurl right after I hit publish.

    I don’t like to vomit (obviously) but I don’t hate it like most people do.

    I did it on the college visit…in Hubs’ JAG! He coulda killed me, but I was busy dying all by myself!

    Throwing up is the worst…especially when you feel like you are being turned inside out! :yuck: :o mg:

    The last time I vomited was when I had pnemonia – no spell check on the itouch so I guessed – I was coughing so hard I threw up.

    I don’t fear vomiting as much now that I’ve endured a year+ of shart attacks.

    Oh man! I hate throwing up as well. Last time I was that sick was when some doctor put me on the wrong antibiotics and I couldn’t stop barfing!
    It was terrible!

    I can’t even watch people fake throwing up in movies. :yuck:

    I’d much rather throw up because I’m sick than because I’m hungover. Maybe that doesn’t sound right…but it’s true.

    Oh dear. My tough 11 yo absolutely hates throwing up too. I’m the other way: if I know I can’t keep something down, it definitely feels better to “just get it over with” if you know what I mean… Not sure whether I should tell you this, but Reason #258 NOT to have kids… Just sayin… I lost 15 lbs. in the first two weeks of pregnancy…

    @submom, and the kids projectile vomiting too. my boy Pilot throws up all the time, I gag everytime.
