QuarantineThe Basics: Quarantine is about a reporter and a camera guy are following along with the fire department on a call and get quarantined in an apartment building.

The Good: This movie scared the bejesus out of me, true story. I was on edge and one scene in it actually made me scream, that rarely happens anymore. While watching the movie we had the back glass door open and the  screen door was latched. The back deck light was off but suddenly we heard a knock on the door. We both jumped up and nearly had a heart attack. Nobody ever knocks on our door so we panicked, we were like “hello? who’s there?” Then I realized it was Aurora trying to open the door :loser: I think it depends on the person whether you’d be scared by this, I was scared by The Blaire Witch Project.

The Bad: I’m not a fan of Jennifer Carpenter but then she did a great job screaming and cowering, I’ll give her that. The main problem for me is this is shot with a handheld camera so it’s very shaky and kind of gave me a headache sometimes. You just want them to stand still sometimes but then the shakiness of the camera is part of what makes it so scary, you feel like you are there and can’t always see exactly what is going on.

I’ve been wanting to see this movie. Jennifer did a awesome job in “Emily Rose” if you haven’t seen it!

I wasn’t a fan of this flick, I dunno, it seemed too much to be trying to be like “Cloverfield #2” . Which is too bad since I like Jennifer Carpenter.
