Get Out Of My Dreams Get Into My Car

Mum: So my mum had complications during the surgery but she’s ok, she’ll have to be in the hospital a little longer. That means a lot of bed rest, television and morphine, so lucky I knew though that my mom was her normal self when she started discussing the movie Doubt with me while she was still coming off of anesthesia. That’s just my family, that’s what we do.

Food: So if you follow me on twitter you’d have noticed I’ve been trying to keep a food diary again and occasionally I tweet stuff I eat. Does anyone care? Doubtful but I’m trying to keep myself in check. I have now learned that I am eating a LOT more than I used to, which explains the extra padding I’m carrying lately.

TV: This summer I really want to limit the shit tv (ie. reality tv) I watch and I don’t even watch that much of it. I get bored sometimes and watch whatever shit is on TLC or some other reality tv channel. I don’t want to be that way. I’d rather go read or take pictures than watch shit tv. They are addicting though, in a mind numbing kind of way.

Party: I’m planning a big party for the middle of the summer. It’s the one time of year that Manly Man and I get to celebrate out of our home with all our friends. As usual I’ll regret doing it a week before because I’ll panic about everything. Our house is too small though for all the people so it’s purely an outdoor party. This means, if it rains, it’s off.

Car: Manly Man is getting his car today or we hope so. He paid for it last week but he hasn’t been able to get the liscense plates until today. It will be nice not having to take him everywhere with me now out of pity.

Birthday: I forgot to mention, it’s Gwen’s birthday! Go wish her a happy one and here is some Gwen literature for your pleasure.
