TV Jambalaya

House: We’ve started watching House via Netflix. I always knew I’d enjoy the show (chock full of sarcasm, who doesn’t like that?) but just didn’t into it when it first started and I like to start my shows totally fresh. What is annoying about this though is hearing all the spoilers way ahead of time, like years ahead of where you are in the series. I noticed the show on last night and lowandbehold the chick is a different chick. What the fuck happened to her? :sad:

American Idol: I feel the need to always remind you I am not a regular with this show, I missed the first 1/2 and don’t know the “details.” I will say, from an outsiders opinion that Adam is something new, something refreshing, and quite talented. One of my favorite songs is Mad World, it’s one of those songs that always gives me chills, and he blew it out of the water. I just sat there in shock.

My Boys: I have nobody to talk about this show with other than Metalmom and Amanda but they are awesome so that’s ok. I have said this on twitter but while I like Bobby and all I don’t quite feel the same passion as that one and only kiss she had with Brandon. They pretend like it never happened. Aside from that damn the guys on this show are so funny :lmao:

Scrubs: Something about the show is kind of creeping me out. I don’t know if it’s JD’s beard or how he is always showing off his torso. Maybe it is the fact that Elliot is a tad too skinny and it doesn’t look right on her frame. Maybe it’s that Elliot and JD were thrown together and it seems forced. Maybe it’s me :dunno:

    No worries on the House thing you will understand what happens once you get there… no one is “different” it is just new… and that is all I will say keep watching.. :heart:

    Sorry about the My boys thing and the Scrubs thing… I don’t watch the My boys show and I think the last season that we watched of scrubs was the one that they were saying was the last one (Elliot getting married and JD about to be a daddy)

    As for AI I love the show… and I love the song Mad world done by both Tears for Fears and Gary Jules. I really think that if Adam had not used his Falsetto through-out the song I would have liked it more. But I can’t deal with the fact that every song he sings sounds the same to me…

    I want to like him cause I know that he is going to win but I just can’t. :sad: From the very beginning… when they did the Auditions I just have not liked anything that he has done… I think that it is a style thing and I am just not into his style…

    It’s just you. Last week’s episode, with just Turk and Elliot was excellent, and this season is so much better than last season, when NBC fucked with the order of the episodes.

    I don’t think it’s obvious he will win, there are guys much cuter and cuter often wins out, not always but often. You never know what will happen, there is no given. He’s an underdog I think because he’s not cliche, he’s not obvious, he started out under the radar and started coming into the spotlight. What do I know anyway? I don’t watch

    Yeah, no… It is soo obvious that he is going to win… Lets just say after 8 years of watching… Anyone who votes usually go on what the judges say… and they have never said anything bad about him…

    You are right about one thing he is different… and maybe not as cute as the others… But as for being under the radar he has yet to be there… he is no underdog… If you want underdog then you can go for one of the girls or… someone like Anoop… that would be underdog… at least on this season it would be.. :rock:

    I still like scrubs, but it’s not as special. I think it’s because they have to save money and rotate cast memebers so there’s not the same group dynamic

    And I disagree with you about Adam. Mad World is also one of my favorite songs, and Adam made me insane with his version. I think I just don’t like people touching my favorite songs, like Jason Castro last year with Hallelujah.

    I really can’t stand AI either, I just watch sometimes when nothing else is on.

    It seems like they totally dropped the Brandon thing so I don’t know…

    I’m not even going to attempt to get you into good shows anymore, you are hopeless. My Boys is a show totally underapreciated.

    Hey, if everyone liked the same person on the show it wouldn’t be any fun. You know me, I always like the not so obvious one…the outcast…the underdog.

    I will say that usually you do go for the underdog… but in this case he is so not the underdog. He is going to win and everyone knows it… I am one of the few out there that doesn’t like him…

    I just am not into sitcoms… sorry… I am more of a drama kind of girl… and you can’t say that I have not gotten into other shows that you like… I am hooked on CSI (I am still watching) And DC… dude I was so a Dawson and Joey fan right there with you… And never forget the number one that you got me into… Felicity??? Come on I was such a Noel fan right there with you! :nana:

    Oh I still like the show, just get a funny feeling from it.

    I guess it just touched me that he chose to sing it and had so much feeling, not enough people know the power of that song.
