I’m in a bit of a pickle. I love doing reviews and updates and opinions about tv shows but I realized I don’t watch as many shows as I used to. I pretty much gave up on CSI when Grissom left despite Greg still being there. I stopped watching Grey’s Anatomy a couple years ago.
More than 1/2 of my shows are sitcoms, there is only so much you can discuss about them. The only big dramas I really watch are Desperate Housewives, Big Love, True Blood and Gossip Girl. I don’t really care to discuss Desperate Housewives since I admit it’s a little soapera-ish so it gets a little over-dramatic to discuss. While some people watch HBO/Showtime shows most don’t.
I started watching House but through Netflix and only the first season so far. A lot of the big shows I don’t watch, including American Idol.
Scrubs: Where are you and why do they keep changing the day it’s on? Are they trying to frustrate and confuse me? Because if they are it’s working.
Big Love: Wow, oh wow. Last episode they showed the ritual of the Mormons inside the church, which I don’t think has ever been shown before publicly. The Mormos are maaaaad because their secret white robes, veils and curtains were revealed. Does this get in the way of them getting into the kingdom of heaven? ps. I have a feeling the whole Nicki storyline is really going to explode soon, now that we know she has a daughter from her marriage when she was a child bride but has not seen since she left the compound. Oh and I don’t beleive that Bill is going to totally drop Nicki, I think in the end the whole marriage bond means way too much for him to give up on it.
Gossip Girl: With the long ass wait for a new episode I was totally bored however the next episode seems pretty good. ps. the director of the play from the last episode was a total douche and I couldn’t even watch him on screen. The entire character plotline was just really annoying. Do I need to kick the writers in the behind to spice shit up? One of the characters at least needs to do something outrageous, like Nate, since he’s been so blah lately. They need to push the envelope, know what I mean?
How I Met Your Mother: I don’t know if I am shipping any couple, which is weird because that’s kinda my thing. I love Lily and Marshall but they are kind of like the old married couple. I did like Ted and Robin together, they have quite the love story but they are no Rachel and Ross. There is also Barney and Robin, I’ll just have to wait and see if that ends up being anything shipable…not sure yet. What is great is I still love the show even though I’m not obsessed with a couple.
Desperate Housewives: The whole kiss thing between Gabrielle and Susan, boooooring. Their attempt at stirring up viewers fell flat. I think it’s the old television producers who still somehow think two girls kissing is taboo, that’s so early 2000.
