Dear Edward Norton:
Where have you been? I know you’ve made movies but nothing that has stood out to me as significant. I don’t mean a big blockbuster, I don’t care about those, I just mean the kind of movie to catch my attention.
I miss you, I really do. When I think of my best moments with you I think of your first film Primal Fear, which was one of my favorite performances of all time. I still remember the gasp the audience let out at the end, in that one moment. You remember it
How I adored you in Fight Club, you had such a hard edge to you but at the same time still that vulnerable quality. I will never forget the part you beat the shit out of yourself, that was hot.
Of course there was American X, powerful and heartbreaking. I am not a fan of you quite so muscular but you took my breath away still.
Then there is also your sweet character in Keeping the Faith, you were so fun to watch. You should consider doing more romantic comedies, you are impossible not to fall for.
I’ve always thought of you as the younger Kevin Spacey and I mean that obviously with the highest admiration. I know you two are good friends so I don’t think it’s too much to ask if you can setup a lunch date. Maybe to be nice we can invite Gwen along as well, she’s a good kid.
Sincerely,
Robin
