So Long Bug

I got this idea from a new friend I made through flickr Grey Street Girl, I thought I’d give it a try.

Live: It’s no surprise, to me at least, that the Sugar Strike didn’t quite last although I’ve only had a couple sweets in the last week which is far better than several a day. What I really want to give up on are bagels, although I’ve only had two this week :thumbsup:

Love: I work everyday and lately Manly Man is home. This means mostly the dishes get done, the house is clean and usually I come home to dinner waiting for me. It’s nice. He even lately gets up with me at 5:30 am and starts my car for me so it’s warm when I leave. The only annoying part is he is so craved for human interraction when I get home that he just talks and talks and talks while that is the last thing I want to do. Fortunately he usually understands this when I say “please, can i just sit and not converse for a while?” :twitchy:

Laugh: The other day I asked Manly Man to walk by me again because he has such a cute butt. He walked by again but swinging his hips and with his arms straight out to the side of him, almost like an airplane but not. I asked him if he could do it in a non-girlie way. He then went back and tried again, with his arms straight down against his sides but still swining his hips :erik:

Give: I don’t think I’ve given anything to anyone in a while, now that we are barely getting by. I do however still try to give treats to Aurora and Pilot, it’s the only way Aurora will be nice to me and it ends the moment the treats are gone. :whack:

Gratus: If you can believe it we are still dealing with the fallout of the ice storm but it is almost over. Our insurance company is totaling our car, which is great for us since we were sick of the hassle of his VW Bug. We thought we were going to have to pay like a $1000 on top of what the car was worth but it turns out the car is worth more, so we actually get money back. This money will go into the new car that Manly Man gets (or rather used car) and once that happens I can wash my hands of this fiasco :dance:

    You are very lucky that Manly Man cleans up and fixes dinner. My ex would have made the place dirtier and expected me to fix dinner after his day at home. Probably explains why things didn’t work out. :avi:
