Dearest Men

Dearest Men,

As you, and many others, are aware the four of you are some of my favorite men in the world but it seems to me either you have been preocuppied lately or just off the radar. This makes me sad, I’d very much like to see all of you much much more.

Scott: I get the sense you really enjoy being off the radar, maybe you do it on purpose or maybe it had something to do with your divorce years ago. I know you are on The Unit but I simply cannot watch that show, I just can’t. While you are oodles of cuteness on it, the plot bores me to tears. Please do a romantic comedy or something, I still keep Noel in my heart.

Ewan: I realize you’ve had some movies come out in the last few years but I must admit I haven’t even seen them yet since none of them had you singing, dancing or naked, that I’m aware of. Please please, sing again or just take your clothes off.

Jake: I know you’ve found love with Reese but you know I’ve been around a lot longer than she has. I’ve been around since October Sky, therefore I think I deserve your attention first. Please make another indie film where you are a dark/quirky guy or just have a sex scene. I think that’s the least that I deserve.

Edward: Where in the hell have you been mister? I was refering to you as the next Kevin Spacey years ago but I’m not sure I can think of a really good film you’ve made since Fight Club. You are obviously one of the best actors of your generation out there, so get to work and show me what you’re made of. I don’t even want to get into it with you about the Hulk movie. I really expected more of you.

I just watched Keeping the Faith the other day… Oh and Ewan isn’t going to be naked but in his next big movie he is going to be a priest… yum (I am such a bad little Catholic girl  )

@gemini – i liked that movie although I’d have picked Ed.
@whall – well i know just where you are, the others are the ones hiding.

Oh good, I was worried there were going to be a bunch more guys I needed to fight with you over or create a visitation schedule (which is really such a hassle some times, you know?). But since I only really like Edward and Ewan and not enough for it to come to blows, I think we’ll be alright. As long as I can borrow them now and then.

I love Edward as well, and I have yet to try and sit long enough to watch The Hulk, I tried watching it one night and I felt like it was a silent film for about 10 minutes of it and got bored…

Ewan? Oh hell yeah! But Jake? No. Brokeback ruined him. Every time I see him, all I see is a needy gay guy.

I liked Ed in that one about the magician…can’t think of the name. But then? Poof! He disappeared himself. And now I’m sad.

Ed Norton was in Hulk, which was surprisingly good.

@Gwen – Phew, so we are only going to fight over Kevin? That’s good, I can only juggle so many competitions at once.
@Heather B – it’s just not my kind of movie. although i’ll probably give it a try when it’s on tv someday.
@H. – oh girl…how can you not understand that men get sexier when they are gay.
@Giggle Pixie – yeah i haven’t seen that, i saw the other one just like it that came out at the same time.
@Misstressm – nothing wrong with it, except for the restraining orders.
@Avitable – i may try it someday, if it’s on tv but i won’t rent it…just not my kind of movie.

Yeah, Kevin I will fight you to the death for but the rest I just want to borrow the odd time. You know, when I need something different. A girl likes to have options.

You won’t find Scott Foley because my wife has him hidden somewhere here in our house. I’d kick out the freeloading bastard… if I could find him.

    @Tug – I’m glad I could be of service.
@kapgar – Well then I’d be glad to stop by, find him and take him off your hands.

It looks like we have the same taste in men! Ha! Oh, Scott Foley…be still my beating heart. I can only think of him as Noel. That legal comedy thing he did – dreadful.

I’m still hoping to run into Jake here in Nashville. Reese is from here and frequents my Starbucks.
