Dear Grissom,

I’m going to be honest, I am hurt. I don’t think you understand how much you leaving CSI just breaks my heart. How is there supposed to be CSI Las Vegas without Gil Grissom? Did you think about the rest of us before you decided to leave? I’m not sure you did, I certainly didn’t get a phone call, letter or email, I didn’t even get text. Not even a text Gil!

Also, I have to say while I like Lawrence Fishburne there is no way he can ever take your place. Don’t you understand you are CSI? It was bad enough letting Sarah leave and then Warrick but now you? Exactly what are we all supposed to do? Just suck it up and pretend like everything is fine? Everything isn’t fine, I’m not sure it ever will be again. I’m sorry, I’m just really emotional right now.

I think the only thing that can keep my spirits up is seeing Greg. Just maybe they’ll give him more screen time, that would ease my pain some. I can’t say for sure Greg will be enough but I’m hoping he will. Hey, do you have Greg’s phone number?
