I was inspired to write a poem recently and it felt good. I haven’t written a real poem in many many years, I used to write them all the time.
I hear so much being unsaid
All these mistakes are marked in red
The distance continues to grow
The bitter taste of a foe
All the words put aside
Leaving the thoughts you can’t confide
Truths become harder to find
Silence leaves so much behind
