Bullet Post Extravaganza

  • I started writing this earlier and it seems to have disappeared. I hope my bullet post will still be as enthralling as it was the first time.
  • I feel like I’ve been on a scavenger hunt for over a year now trying to find the right stuff. Trying to find discount converse, hair clips, note cards, and shapewear. It’s never ending. I’m so tired of always hunting.
  • I’ve lost a few pounds. I have just gotten to the point where I realize I have to stop thinking about it because that was only making it worse.
  • We’ve decided on a song for our first dance, thanks to everyone for no help in that decision. I ended up picking a song I consider to be one of the most beautiful love songs
  • We officially now have 4 BMs and 3 GMs but this is certainly something I can deal with. I don’t care if numbers are off, I do care that Erik was let down.
  • The entire wedding weekend is completely insane. Friday night is the rehearsal dinner, Saturday morning is a brunch at my parent’s house, Saturday evening is a bridesmaid dinner, Sunday is the wedding and Monday is another brunch. I may be too tired for a honeymoon.
  • This week I need to go to the social security office to change my name.  Maybe I should change it to Chesty McBreasterston or just combine our last names to Grausberg (said with a heavy German accent).
  • It’s officially bug season, somehow I always forget about the bugs.  Where I live the bugs are EVERYWHERE and I found that out last night while peeing a huge bug landed in my cleavage :what:

So you’ve decided to change your name, eh? How traditional of you! 😉

Well I tossed around the idea. I did it for 2 reasons really.

    1. I hate my current last name, always have. Erik’s is slightly better than mine.
    2. I want to be a family with Erik and I feel this makes us a family at least to me.

That’s cool. I decided to keep my name for professional reasons, but thought I’d change it to his name as a present for our 5th anniversary, and continue to use my name as a professional name. OK, so I stole the idea from Sarah Michelle Gellar (or whatever her name is), but at the time it was too overwhelming. Maybe in another 5 years. 😀

Sounds like a good plan. I have no reasons to keep my last name so it wasn’t hard to give it up.
