Most things about the wedding I don’t really care about, I mean I care but I don’t care. Music is one thing I really care about and I’ve been putting together a list for the DJ for over a year. I keep changing things and reworking things. I think I mentioned that I am going to change our first dance song, it just feels right. I’m choosing between the following songs and hope to make a final decision very soon:

Blower’s Daughter – Damien Rice

Home – Michael Buble

And other than that right now, I’m drawing a damn blank. I’m also at the moment leaning towards Blower’s Daughter but that could change any minute

    While I love Blower’s Daughter something fierce, I don’t think I could ever use it as a wedding song simply because of how fucked up the relationships in Closer were. It’s one of those odd things to me, like the Tolkien geeks who get matching One rings for wedding bands.

    The Blower’s Daughter is one of my favorite songs of all time. (And cannonball.) That whole album is mind blowingly beautiful.

    I ended up loving the song far more than I loved the movie, the song really resonates with me and I think it’s incredibly beautiful.
