Still Hittin It

The gym that is, I doubt you care but I’m telling you anyway. Usually 3 times a week but I want to start actively walking on weekends, when I have more free time and don’t have to run around like crazy. I haven’t lost much weight but I haven’t really tried as hard as I should have. I have 2 months to go from Tuesday, I hope I can buckle down.

After some advice on Twitter I’ve decided to just focus on a few things:

  1. Water
  2. Extra walking
  3. Egg whites
  4. Chicken/fish
  5. Veggies

That’s the plan, the only day I will go off this at all is Sunday as it’s my bridal shower but I’m sure I’ll be too busy to go over the top. Oh and I don’t know how important my coffee is because I can’t do black, either it has milk in it or I don’t drink it. Will giving up coffee make a big difference?

    I think caffeine is actually good for you, they had a study fairly recently that I read. it (obviously) give you more energy, but I think it helps your metabolism or something like that, so don’t give it up. Just use skim.

    Here’s how I lose weight quickly, when I actually apply myself.

    Six meals a day. No more than three hours apart. You must eat within thirty minutes of getting up for your metabolism to shift into gear.

    At each meal, eat 2 oz of protein and 1 cup of veggies. You can have low glycemic fruit for your afternoon snack and evening snack, as long as you eat 2 oz of protein with it.

    At dinner, you can have 1/2 c of good carbs, or maybe 1/2 baked potato or baked sweet potato.

    Use butter buds, NO salt, etc. I lose weight like crazy, because it’s good carbs, and low carb in general, and high in protein.

    Only thing is, I’m trying to keep it as uncomplicated as possible because I’m way too stressed to pay too close attention, unfortunately. Also, when things are overly complicated (like WW) and I have to keep track of things or measure I never ever last.
