Freewriting Friday: Babies, Cincinnati and Lots of Rest

Here we go again, me rambling and calling it Freewriting. Whatever, as long as it entertains you guys.

Ok, here is the deal with this freewriting stuff…I’m all for writing out my thoughts but if you expect me to concentrate on this and only this for more than 10 seconds then you don’t know me at all. Right now I am doing like 5 different things at the same time, that’s how I roll. I’ve already asked for time off for my wedding for June, I just hope I can save up enough ET for it.

I really have to stop taking time off…that means I have to suck it up and not get sick. I need to eat healthy and drink a lot of water, get plenty of sleep. I swear, my system crashes when I try to do too much. Some people are just built to handle a ton of stuff at once, I am not one of those people.

Damn, something is up because Firefox just crashed on me in the middle of doing those 5 different things. I think it’s my site, I’m sorry if it’s being a shithead today. My coffee is cold, why can’t coffee stay nice and warm for a couple hours? Someone needs to create a travel mug that really does keep the coffee warm, like with a special insulator or something. Maybe it’s just the fact I put as much milk in it as I do coffee :dunno:

There is way too much stuff going on lately. Was life always this hectic or does it only seem that way because I’ve got a big event of my own coming up? One friend just had her second child and is hoping to move from Colorado back here before the wedding.

Another friend, a BM, is about 3 months pregnant, just got married, got a new/better job and is closing on their first house today. Mind you a house so big it could eat mine for a snack.

Another friend is moving to Cincinnati, who moves to Cincinnati? I could kick his ass if he weren’t so cute.

Another BM just got a new job, a much better job.

Oh yeah and another friend of ours is moving to Australia in a few months.

I feel somehow like I used up all my good fortune just to have a wedding, is that how it works? You get like either 1 really big thing a year or a few pretty good things happen in a year. If you get one big thing that’s it, you are out of luck until the next year? I think that’s it, I’m sure of it.

I sure hope that isn’t how it works. I think people can have more than one good thing happen to them.

Your friends are moving all over! That is neat though, because you can visit and travel to all kinds of interesting places!

Sometimes I feel the same way but then something else good happens. Of course this just recently started happening to me – before that I was lucky to have one really good thing a year. lol
    HAPPY EASTER :erik:

You know what would be funny? If I could hack in and change the definition of BM from “bridesmaid” to “bowel movement”.

    That would be funny.

I don’t think that’s true. I hope not. Of course, I haven’t had a really good thing happen to me since July.

BTW, I love, love, love that picture up there in your header.

Hey girl. Sorry I am late on this, but I splained it on my blog.

You know, there’s no just dealing with not getting sick. If you ask me, it’s cuz the stress you are under. Ever since I started meditating two years ago, I don’t get sick as much… I think we talked about that before though.

    Many hugs your way!
