So I’ve been meaning to start telling some MIL stories but I have to be careful what I say because I don’t want to cross the line with blogging about her. She doesn’t love that I blog but then a lot of the family doesn’t :dunno:

I was at a Christmas party at Gemini’s (this is pre-Erik) and everyone was opening presents as they always do. Her grandmother (she was a very cool woman) was opening her gifts but accidentally opened a bag of batteries before the actual battery operated gift. I don’t remember what the gift was but I’m sure it was like a generic battery operated appliance.

So MIL is known for having little tact and just saying whatever pops into her head. Sometimes it’s funny and other times it’s not. She likes getting attention and loves to shock people. So what does MIL say when the grandma opens the gift of batteries?

“Is that for her vibrator?”

The whole room just kind of uncomfortably laughed but tried to pretend like it didn’t happen (as people often do with her). However Gemini and I with our dirty minds had to run out of the room to fall on the floor with laughter.

Hell, we probably thought the same thing as MIL when we saw it…we just didn’t say anything :D

    MistressM - Well someday I will be a grandmother (a step-grandmother at least) and I plan to still be using one. Hell, if I can’t get on top anymore I might as well have battery operated assistance.
