Numb and Tingly

Lately I’ve been having trouble with my legs and feet as they seem to get numb and tingly (like they are asleep) all the time. It used to be only if I were laying down for a while but now it happens after like 10 minutes. It also seems to happen at the gym, I thought it was my sneakers but I wore a different pair and by the end of my workout my feet were getting numb again.

In all seriousness, anyone have any idea what this is? I’m going to contact my doctor but we all know they aren’t always as helpful as we need.

Additionally: It’s happening with my arms now too, so far it’s when I’m using my laptop at home on the table.  I’m started to get really irritated.

You might have PAD (Peripheral Artery Disease). Those are a couple of the symptoms. My aunt has it. You should google it and see if you match any of the symptoms. I hope this helps.

Interesting that I found your blog through Heather. The same thing is happening to me but only in my legs sometimes and in the morning with my hands.

Angel – I appreciate the help, I looked it up and it didn’t really fit this.

princessdominique – That’s the great thing about blogging, you can connect with others when you least expect it. I neglected to mention my poor circulation lately and how cold my feet always are.

Robin, it could be something as simple as poor circulation. :dunno: Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.

When is the last time you had a glucose test?

I didn’t think of that. Mr. Fabulous is right. You might want to have a glucose test. I have the tingles so often that I didn’t even think about it, but my diabetes is the cause of mine.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a glucose test but they’ve tested other things. You mean a fasting glucose test right?
