Just Like Old Times

It was just like old times with The Fly, except that we didn’t end up passed out on the floor in the morning.  I’d say that’s an improvement at age 29.

Most of the night we caught up on old times.  Which friends were married to assholes and who had babies that shouldn’t have.  I told her that all my exes from college were married now but still losers.  She told me that all her exes are still losers and some of them even in jail :what:

We had dinner and drank a wee too much, nothing compared to the old days.  3 martinis each and we were rockin hard :rockin:  I have a feeling we ran out the table next to us because of our conversation topics such as vibrators and virginities.

After that we decided, why not a movie?  We saw 1408 and I really wasn’t all that impressed or scared for that matter.  It was alright and of course Cusack is always fun to watch.

We of course got DD after that, because what is a night of drinking a cursing without a DD :coffee: to finish it off.  We drove around for another hour just babbling about anything and everything.  She kept reminding me of people and situations that I’d completely blocked out.  Thanks The Fly   You know, we block certain things out for a reason.

I hung out at her place until about 1am and it was so good to see her again.  It’s nice to have those friends that you can just pick up with out of nowhere like no time has passed.

Oh wow. That sounds like a fun night. I LOVE being able to get together with someone and chat, gossip and remember shit that we try to forget……. And then add a couple of cocktails and it is perfect!

It is fun getting old isn’t it? 3 cocktails and I would be done too… LMAO!!!

I liked 1408 – thought it was a clever thriller, and John Cusack was excellent.

TMP – I know, before I would drink shots all night and not get that drunk.

Jen – It’s so much fun.

Avi – I don’t know, I thought it was a bit over the top and I didn’t get the whole ending with the fire :dunno: Maybe I was just too drunk to get freaked by it.

Didn’t get it? There wasn’t any twist or anything.

How was it the fire could save him but not anything else?

I think it was the fact that you were drunk.

So 1408 wasn’t really that scarey – darn it!

It depends whose opinion means more? Fab is kind of a pussy so it depends how easily scared you are.
