Less Fireworks More Beer

I don’t care about fireworks, neither does Erik.  What’s the big deal?  The last time we went to see 4th of July fireworks we left before they started because we were being eaten alive by bugs.

We’re also not the kind of people that LOVE America or anything.  I mean I appreciate it but sometimes I’d rather live elsewhere.  We don’t have anything around the house with the American flag on it, I hate when I see cars covered in that stuff.

So we’re just going to go to BIL and Gemini’s house to drink.  Is there anything more American than that?

Have a great 4th anyway!

I haven’t been to the fire works in years. I find that its just a bunch of drunk idiots that cause a whole shit load of problems for everyone else there. Maybe its just me but I have never had an experience without them there. They tend to destroy the night for everyone.

I had a workout planned today and thats it.

I am going shopping with my mother (how american is that?) and my son and BF are going to see Transformers with my mom’s husband. Also very american. I am not certain I am going to see fireworks. Either way, have a couple for me!!!

I just love having a day off right smack in the middle of the week, it breaks up the monotony.

Oh, I love fireworks! It’s not about patriotism for me at all. They’re just beautiful to look at – kind of like how some people love to look at sunsets.

I’d rather have a sunset but I understand the love of fireworks.

I hate fireworks too. And most of those idiots who blow hundreds of dollars on that crap aren’t being patriotic either, they just like to make a lot of frickin noise.

I like to watch the fireworks-

at home on tv. Without crowds of people that I don’t know. Also, without bugs. Plus, when I watch them on TV there is usually some concert going on with them that is pretty cool.

I guess lately it’s more of the fact that something has to really pump my nads to get me to leave the house
