Makeup Commercials

I can’t stand makeup commercials.  ‘Do you need a lipstick that keeps your lips kissable?’  No, I need a lipstick that gets me equal pay for equal work.  How about eye shadow that makes me stop thinking I’m too fat?

A commercial you’ll never see: “You don’t need any makeup, you’re beautiful as you are.”

Actually my ex-boyfriend would refuse to kiss me if I had lipstick on. XD

Which I can understand, though, since *I* wouldn’t exactly want to kiss someone and then find some weird make-up taste on my lips…

LOL GDG…. That would be an interesting commercial… too bad that it would never work the way that we would want it to.

Women these days done even believe there SO’s when they say that…

All advertizing on TV and the media Tell us other wise or make us feel less of a woman if we don’t look perfect all of the time… They say that we are too fat When I say we are Curvy! (curvy is beautiful), they say that we have to get rid of the gray in our hair instead of celebrating the fact that we have lived life to the fullest and are wise beyond our years. They say that our boobs shouldn’t sag and that we need breast implants but If they understood or think about what they are really for, Feeding Babies they wouldn’t think soo much why they are not as perky as they were when we were all just budding teenagers!

It really is sad what the Media has done to us… but then again we are letting it happen too! :help:

I now understand why women in the 60’s burned bras :whosnext:

GDG – Yeah, we could use a little of that out there.

    Kery – Erik hates makeup.

Gemini – I do actually, I know he likes me better without all the makeup and other stuff.
