You Can Never Know Enough
An interview from Gemini because I thought it would be interesting to do the interview from someone who knows me WAY too well.
1. If you could live any where in the world other then where you do
where would you live? and why? (money is not an object)
I would live in Europe somewhere but since I haven’t visited I’m not sure where. I know it would probably take some getting used to but I get so sick of how twisted everything is over here and how uptight everyone is. I would really like to live somewhere that I could relax more and enjoy life more.
2. If you won the lottery (500 mil.) what would you do?
I’d first go on a shopping spree. Then I’d pay everything off. Then I’d give money to those close to me that needed it. Then I’d buy a second house and keep the one we have now as a vacation home. Last, but not least, I’d take a year off to travel. Oh yeah, and charities.
3. What is the first thing that you think of when you see Mr. Yoda when
he comes home?
It depends on my mood. Sometimes I think I’m so glad he’s home, I’ve missed him so much and other days it’s he’s home already? no more Robin time 🙁 Most days I just think about how lucky I am to have him and how damn cute he is!
4. What is your favorite book? Why do you like it? and why did you
choose to read it?
The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath – I think it hit a nerve with me when I read it and no book has ever really had such an impact on me. I decided to read it because I was in a dark place I think and I fell in love with Sylvia Plath’s writing. I need to read it again.
5. What is it (beside the fact that Kevin Spacey is in the movie) that
you like so much about the movie American Beauty?
I could write an entire post on this. I love and admire this movie because it encorporates everything a film should be. First off the writing is brilliant, which is why I also love Alan Ball (also did Six Feet Under) and I think that was probably what I noticed first.
Next the look (cinematography and editing) was exquisite to say the least. It just pulled you in and made it impossible to look away.
Each actor was perfect for the role and that is an easy thing to messup in a movie. Of course Kevin just stole the whole movie, he was like witnessing something beautiful unfolding. The images in the movie with the dark reds and the roses just made everything so much more intense.
The music and the way it flowed, the hidden meanings, and in the end the true beauty of the story…a beauty most people didn’t understand unfortunately. I can only imagine the hatred this movie could have spewed if it came out now.
Don’t miss this anti-drugs commercial :lmfao:
