Don’t Mess With Him
It’s hard to tell sometimes if they are play fighting or really fighting. Something tells me by the scars on Pilot’s nose that the fights are real. You would think the fights would come about over something like food or a territorial thing but most of the time it seems to be for no reason.
Usually Pilot is the one that starts the fights and he has a way of doing it everytime. He’ll get up really close to her, turn sideways and turn his head in her direction slowly. He’ll walk in circles around her, taunting her and it works everytime.
While he takes his time to survey the situation she starts hissing, growling and swatting at him immediately. This, however, never distracts or stops him from his mission. He lets her continue to attack while he patiently waits his turn.
It’s funny that almost always Aurora is on the bottom and he’s towering over her. I guess that shows he’s the alpha male and she should bow to him. When it comes to Mr. Yoda and I…well he’s not the alpha male that’s for sure.
In this situation though I think it might have been a territorial thing because they are both sitting on the ottoman and all this time that was always Pilot’s spot. Recently Mr. Yoda cleaned the fur off of it (you could make another cat out of it) and put a blanket down. I guess Aurora figured since it didn’t smell of Pilot it was fair game but it seems Pilot didn’t quite see it that way.
I’m not sure who wins in these fights because Pilot is the one that ends up injured but then Aurora is usually the one that runs away pissed off. This is better than any wrestling show I tell you.
