Flirting

I’m a big flirt and I’ve never denied it.  Mr. Yoda knows that I am even if he doesn’t always love it.  I see nothing wrong with it as long as you have boundaries.  Flirting now at 29 in a happy and committed relationship is completely different than flirting as a singleton in my early twenties.

Why do people flirt?  Maybe some people flirt for attention or to try to get someone interested in them but that has never been my underlying reason.  I’m just a naturally friendly person and in certain circumstances flirting can be really fun.

I must say at this point in my life it rarely happens.  I have a couple guy friends I still flirt with in a joking way and it’s definitely more common after a few cosmos :martini:   I’ve never considered this disrespectful and I have absolutely no problem with Mr. Yoda flirting sometimes.

I actually think a little flirting here and there can be really healthy.  It let’s you laugh a little more and express yourself a little more.  Granted I flirt with Mr. Yoda everyday but sometimes it’s fun to flirt with someone else.  The flirting I do with my fiance though is a lot different than with anyone else :wink:

    Flirting is a part of the way that most people communicate. It’s perfectly harmless unless your s.o. is hurt or offended by it.

    I think flirting is normal and healthy. As long as there are no hurt feelings and jealousy issues, I don’t see anything wrong with it.

    * Sometimes Mr. Yoda gets a little jealous so I really try not to do it in front of him and like I said…it’s so rare these days.

    Nothing wrong with flirting as long as your other 1/2 is cool with it. I’m a bigger flirt now then I have ever been before…
