I’ve decided to have my wedding planning as my sideblog instead of on the regular blog because I’d like to keep my regular blog for more entertaining/thought provoking posts. So I figured the sideblog was a good way to share my wedding planning.

So far I’ve asked 2 out of 4 of my bridesmaids because I’d like to ask them in person…I’m personal like that. I’ve also picked up my wedding planning book (it’s fairly big) and have broken it to my mother that I am not having a Jewish wedding :dunce:

I went to Gemini’s house today so I could take a shower (pipes being frozen and all) and asked her if she’d be my MOH (maid of honor) and it’s good to know she said yes. If you didn’t realize by now she’s Erik’s brother’s wife and it’s because of her that we met. So she will be my sister-in-law and she’s quite honestly been my best friend for a long time now.

I also asked my friend KK to be a BM (bridesmaid) and she too said she would be happy to. She’s pregnant right now but will have had the baby a while before the wedding. I met her in college and we lost touch for a while. We started hanging out again a few years ago and have been pretty close every since.

Erik has yet to ask any of his groomsmen but that’s him and that’s ok…we’ve got the time.

I’m looking at dresses but it all depends on if I can lose weight. I like the sheeth kind of dress but I’d look better in the A-line…we’ll see.

Wedding planning is so much fun! What is the date of the wedding?

No date yet but the plan is June 2008. We need to discuss it with the family and also figure out the place.
