I Can’t Find Aurora

I’m probably just freaking out right now like a furmommy but I came home and can’t find Aurora anywhere. When I got home I let Pilot out to run around a bit and I didn’t see Aurora go outside like normally she would.

I called her name over and over and then even shook the bag of treats since that almost always gets her attention but nothing. I looked under, behind, inside and on top of everything. I’m nervous, really nervous. It’s unlike her.

What I’m hoping is she snuck out the door when I got home and didn’t see but sadly she didn’t have her collar on. I hate this worried mommy feeling, it makes me sick to my stomach.

I’m just going to hold tight for the moment and just hope she’ll pop up

Update: While sitting on the sofa I suddenly saw Aurora’s little head popup at the backdoor and she’s completely fine. She’s such a pain in the ass, totally snuck out without me realizing it.

I don’t know how people handle having children, I’d lose my mind :twitchy:

I was going to say that Aurora will pop up when you least expect it….just like the real aurora in the northern sky!

Jen – If she hadn’t popped up soon I was going to go outside looking for her so it’s good she popped up when she does. She just doesn’t follow rules very well :annoyed:

My kitties aren’t outside cats. They don’t want to go anywhere near the outdoors. It’s cold and wet and dirty out there. I’m really glad for that, too. I had one cat get run over and another just never came home.

Cats love to mess with your head.

    I think she’s smarter than you…

Joefish – We weren’t going to do the outdoors thing but our area is so nice we couldn’t resist and they love it. Mister and I have both lost cats because of cars but luckily we have very little traffic here. I wasn’t worried about her being lost outside though…I thought she was sick or something and hiding.

Mr. Fab – I think so too, I’m a little pawn in their game
