Momentary Darkness

This isn’t the first time we’ve had a blackout in our house but it’s the first time it’s happened at night. I bet Mr. Yoda is glad I have an array of ridiculous candles now

We could have turned the night into a romantic one but instead I played some solitaire while he tried to build a fire with ice covered wood.  We also cursed the neighbors across the street with their xmas lights still on because of their generator.  Yes, you’re rich and stuff…we get it!

Fascinating I know but a little of an adventure.  At least it was an adventure for Mr. Yoda, I just played solitaire.

If it’s during the day, is it really a “blackout?”

I’m with Joe… if it happens during the day it isn’t a “blackout”… its simply a power outage. Generally blackouts also lasts 12 hours at the minimum.

Next time it happens… remind Mr. Yoda that candle lit aerobic exercise creates copious amounts of body heat that you could have used to thaw out the logs.

Joefish – Yeah, good point. Well the power went out anyway.

Gemini – CSI can ruin a relationship, we’re in therapy over my love for Greg

Susan – Only about an hour, we were fine.

Watchdog – Yeah, we contemplated that but things have been in the way lately.

Next time you should have a long extension cord handy… trace where their Xmas lights are plugged in, and replace it with your own cord!
