Let Us Meet Gemini

So I’ve done a few posts introducing you to some IRL friends of mine, although I don’t think most of them have even read it 🙁 Oh well, I know I had yet to write about this chick and I decided it was about time.

You’ll know her best on here as Gemini but she’s also posted as Penny and Vtek I think. Well, she’s a gemini and we all know they are a complicated bunch of people :twitchy: The most important part to start with though is the fact she’s my SIL (or SILT = Sister-Robin and Geminiin-law-in-training) or basically the dude who introduced me to Erik

I met Gemini at a job that neither of us are still with. I think she’d agree that we clicked immediately and started hanging out a lot. In fact after about a month of working there she gave me a birthday gift, which was a bag of lots of goodies (a book, stickers, etc.).

A while later I was laid off from that job and sometime after that she was as well, but we continued to be friends. For a good amount of time we lived a good 40 minutes away from each other but I still visited her a lot. She even dropped everything to drive with me all the way to Tulsa only to have me move back home a month later

Gemini is a tough girl (although she claims she’s not as tough as she seems) but she used to be in the military. I tell you, I wouldn’t want to get on her bad side when she’s got a pair of nylons on her. She’s a very hard worker and deserves everything she’s worked so hard for.

She’s married to Erik’s brother and I guess you can say I lucked out in the SIL department. We didn’t plan it but in a way I now have the sister I never had. We annoy each other, steal each others clothes and have a lot of inside jokes (psst…the force is with you ).

So now you know Gemini, I could tell you more but then she might hurt me :what:

    I loved this post.

By the way, you did something I have always advised women to do, and that is to meet their boyfriends through a friend or trusted acquaintance. Women could save themselves a lot of misery if they followed that advice.

I hope you are having a nice week

I strongly believe that too, I rarely met guys otherwise and when I did it never worked out well. Ever. Gemini also met her hubby (Erik’s brother) through friends…about 10 years ago.

Ok, so which is Gemini in the picture? Which is you.
Great post. I agree with meeting gentlemen through freinds. I did the online thing too much and that was just some goofy people. I met my husband through a coworker and she’s now married to his best friend and all four of us have been close ever since.

Heather -Well I think it’s good to meet people (of all kinds) through friends as much as possible. If they are friends with a friend at least you know your friend thought they were worthwhile to have as a friend and you can get dirt. I’ve always wanted to get a good job through a friend’s recommendation but it has yet to happen.

Once she reads it I’m sure she’ll enjoy it…she’s a busy busy girl. Going for another promotion so it’s crazy in her world.
