Giving Away Free Hugs

  • I don’t follow politics as much as I should but over the last year I’ve come to realize I am definitely neither a Democrat or a Republican; I am somewhere in the middle. I hope Deval Patrick is the right choice, he definitely seems better than the other option. I just wish there was more of a middle ground, you know?
  • So Aurora and Pilot have been inside for about 5 days. Now instead of Pilot hunting little mice he hunts Aurora and he’s a mean hunter. I swear my cats are working us in hopes we’ll give in to what they want: endless supply of kitty treats and the freedom to come and go as they choose.
  • I’ve realized that most people only will comment on one post per blog a day and often the most recent. Anyone else notice that? I better make sure the really good posts are the first you see
  • NaNo is coming along ok but not spectacular.  I’m certainly pretty far behind and only have written a few days out of the week.  It’s fun being involved anyway.
  • I found a chocolate syrup that is 50% less sugar but no added fake sugar. Alright!!
  • My new ringtone is one of my new favorite songs…you can listen here
  • With all the celebs getting “lanced” I swear they better stay the fuck away from My Kevin or they’ll have me to deal with :whosnext:
  • I’m so glad to have friday off…these 5 day work days is just killer.
  • I got this by email today and it really made my day. Please get your FREE HUGS HERE.

I was all almost-caught up in NaNoWriMo… until I sat up till 2:30 AM watching the election. Oh well!

I need to write at home but I’m lucky if I get any house work done on weekdays. All my free time seems to be about either much needed relaxation or getting stuff done I couldn’t do over the week.

The NaNo thing for me is being a killer. I started so deep in the hole… I may not get out of it. At least I’m writing though.

Oh, and that ringtone kicks some serious ass!

NYC – Yeah I’m just glad I’m writing. Yeah I can’t wait until someone calls me so I can hear the ringtone. I wanted Erik to have that one for me but he didn’t think it would be right since he uses the phone at work.

Now Pilot is picking on Aurora? Maybe you should just give in with that endless supply of kitty treats. 😉 It’s only been a few days, so all you can do is see what happens after a few more. You know how it is dealing with cats–it takes an endless amount of patience.

Heather – the music makes it.

Barb – Luckily Erik has some because I have none. If it weren’t so dangerous I would just sit back and watch the brawl but she’s gonna scratch another one of his eyes out.

What about giving the perpetrator a time out? Angelo gets those often. We’ll lock him in the bathroom for about 15 minutes when he acts up.

Does it work? We’ve done that and it doesn’t seem to do any good. We’re bad parents I think.

You’re not bad parents! They’re being bad cats! LOL. Have you tried reading any of Pam Johnson-Bennett’s books? I highly recommend them.

Oh, and yeah, it works. He’s calmer once he’s been “released.”

I’ll give it a try more often and see if it works. They are little devils that have been put on this earth to torture me I think.

OK. I won’t talk about the fact that Kevin is SO gay. And the free hug guy rules!

  16. Robin

    November 8, 2006 at 6:29 pm

Whether Kevin is or is not gay isn’t the point…he should be left alone. It’s not like he’s a big party guy or begging for tabloids. He’s an actor, not a celebrity, and doesn’t deserve the same attacks like the others.

I try really hard to comment on all new posts whether it be one or sixty. :willy_nilly: OK…maybe not sixty, but you know what I mean.

This is my effort to not be “most people” and comment on more than one post during the same visit.

Very nice Geeky…you just wanna be on my list 😉

True about Kevin. He’s kind of like Johnny Cusack in that way — just wants to work. He’s not into being famous as much as he is into doing good movies.
