Lovely Sunday

I used to hate Sundays but I’m starting to love them now. I had a relaxing morning, didMouse a bunch of cleaning and moving stuff around and then we did some errands.

We also took a detour to see a local orchard, litterally down the road, and I got some red raspberry jam. They also have lovely apple pies, apple cider and apple crisp. I think we will be back again.

At the grocery store we also saw a itty bitty mouse running around the parking lot. We got a picture! We tried tFlock of Geeseo save it and at least bring it back to the forest but we couldn’t catch it. Click the picture to see it up close.

On the way home after driving around and looking at how beautiful autumn is where we live we saw a flock of geese outside the lake ready to head home for winter. Sorry the shot isn’t fantastic but it’s hard to pull over on that road.

The hardwood floor is on it’s way to to halfway done and looking beautiful.  I think we’ve finally setup the spare rooms the way we want it and we’re ready to carpet our bedroom as well.  I will soon share some pictures of that.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend

Sounds like you had a wonderful & fulfilling weekend.

You know, that mouse was probably the fabled “City mouse” and he just wasn’t quite ready to go visit his cousin the “country mouse”. LOL!

Susan – :lmao: That’s a much better way to look at it than we were. Erik still is sad that he thinks the mouse didn’t make it to the end of the day.

If you couldn’t catch the mouse, I’m sure that means it can take of itself in the wilds of the city!

It was freaking cold this past weekend here but has warmed up quite nicely. It was actually a lovely morning this morning mid 70s 🙂

Blueyes – It was definitely chilly but I was just glad the sun was out.

I’ll take that mouse over the big ass rat we’ve got right now. I saw it scurry across the back porch when I was letting the dogs out. Time for some traps or poison.

See that’s why we have cats…or one of the reasons we do. They should kill that kind of thing but our cats are pussys.
