She Has a Sweet Side
I’ve complained about her a lot lately but when she’s not feeling attacked (ie. when only Erik and I are around) she’s quite sweet. Ok, so I can’t just pick her up and hug her because that really pisses her off.
If you leave her alone she’ll actually come up to you and rub up against your legs all happy. Sometimes she’ll even follow you around and meow like she’s having a conversation with you.
She loves to sit with us when we’re in the living room and usually on the arm of the chair next to Erik. Sometimes she’ll even start licking Erik’s head although we still aren’t sure why she does it.
When I get up in the early morning Aurora often will either lay down at the end of the bed or even take my spot. I always say to her “yes, you keep daddy company†and I honestly think she loves being around us.
Can I really blame her for not liking visitors? She doesn’t trust them and this is HER house not theirs. Can you really blame her for not liking to be picked up? She probably feels trapped, maybe she’s claustrophobic or something  Can you blame her for getting upset when things around her change and she doesn’t understand why?
Either way, we’re taking her to the vet on Saturday. I kind of doubt there is anything wrong with her, I think she just likes things to stay the same…I can understand that.
