If you don’t know this song I highly suggest you download it, especially considering what I went through years ago to find out the name of the song.
Several times I’d heard some song and remembered so little of it I couldn’t figure out who sang it or what the name of it was. For a while it drove me crazy and I racked my brain trying to figure it out.
All I could remember was “mm mmm mm mmm I feeeeel alIVE†and when I’d hum it to people I got a lot of funny looks. Some people recognized it a little but couldn’t figure it out either.
At one point I thought the song was from The Craft but alas it was not. Then I thought maybe the group was the one who did the song “Cannonball†but that wasn’t it either. Eventually I got frustrated and just gave up the search.
Then one day I was lying in bed with my then boyfriend and I started humming the only part I knew. To my shock he finished the lyrics with “if you have it you’re on the other side…†:wow: He told me the group was K’s Choice and the song was Not An Addict. He also informed me he had the song on his computer at his dorm room :yipee:
Not An Addict is a great song and was totally worth tracking it down. I didn’t realize until afterwards that a lot of people knew the song, just not anybody I asked :duh:
