So far we’re lucky to say we have some very nice neighbors. There is a retired couple across the street who told Erik they have a mosquito magnet and that may be why we have a lot less mosquitos. They also told him we could use their access to the lake to use a boat
There is also a younger couple (in their thirties I’d say) that are sort of behind us but to the left. They have this long driveway that looks like another street and when I once took a peak the house is quite substantial. They also have an indoor cat and a pitbull named Angel.
Anyway, the young couple stopped by out of the blue last night while we were watching some show on the Food Network. I get really nervous around new people and stuff so I’m trying to block most of it out as far as stupid things I probably said.
Still, they brought us homemade banana bread without nuts (I prefer no nuts so I thanked her for that ) I tried one last night too, yummy! She also gave us homemade peach jam or something and these little crocheted I think mice for the cats. Pilot was even sweet to them but Ms. Bitch (Aurora) stayed in the other room.
They said they wanted us over for dinner sometime, we’re so curious what they do for a living to own such a property at such a young age.
They also thanked us for being such better neighbors than they thought they would get. They were worried we’d have a bunch of kids, they don’t have any either which might be a nice thing we have in common.
Who knows, maybe we’ll make some new friends :dunno:
