Worthwhile Hard Work
I’m surprised at how much hard work I did this weekend and impressed at how much was accomplished.
We moved more stuff out of the apartment, put the first coat of paint in the guestroom, finished off the first coat in the bedroom, painted the white around the doors and windows in the living room and I even picked up a few things we needed. Whew, my body is still feeling it and I don’t even regret I didn’t spend a lot of time relaxing.
Also Gemini came by on Sunday and (without asking) helped us put more work into the living room and it’s looking great. I was just happy to have her visit and see what our home is turning into. Gemini and her hubby are visiting next weekend too and helping us move out the rest of the apartment.
We need the help so badly and words cannot express how much it means to us. We just want to finish up the apartment so we can move on and enjoy our home.
I know they understand considering they are in the process of buying their first home as well and we’ll help when the time comes. Although when it comes to this I’ve learned my skills are limited but Erik is the man when it comes to this.
The furkids enjoyed a good amount of time outside and got a lot of exercise. Pilot terrorized a poor squirrel and Aurora came inside often for her cat naps. So far it seems to be working out ok and I’m so happy they are so happy. I will however I always worry about them and the big bad world but their happiness means more than my fear.
I’m going to try to stay away from the childfree topic on my blog for the moment but feel free to check out my posts on Purple Women TM!
