My Life is So Fascinating

Please don’t keel over from how truly entertaining this post is, enter at your own risk.

I let the furkids outside for a short period of time because I’d rather have control over it than have them sneak behind my back and not know where they are. I realize they will probably still sneak out anyway but I’m trying to get some control here.

Now they are obsessed and whine 24/7.  I don’t know if this was a good idea anymore but if you saw our house it’s just going to be impossible to keep them inside completely.  Today I can get the IDs for their collars so I’ll feel better, I just hope they stay away from the street and come in at night.

We have this alarm thing in our house to check for gas I guess because we use a propaine tank and it goes off at least once a day. Once it went off when I got out of the shower and no gas was being used. I think it’s confused but damn the thing is loud and could wake up the whole neighborhood…ok just might annoy a couple neighbors :dunno:

The most annoying part to me is not the loud alarm sound but it actually talks to you. It tells us to evacuate and such.  Sometimes it just warns you of gas but says there actually isn’t any.  Not a very smart alarm if you ask me.

More moving this weekend and hopefully some painting but I’m not expecting any miracles at this point. I’d just like to make a little progress even if it means just really cleaning up and storing some boxes in the office (last room to paint). We will though move a good amount out of the apartment though, we’re running out of time here.

I hope the kitties are going to be safe.

Don’t overwork yourself. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day. 🙂

It’s good that you’ll have their id’s on their collars. Cats love to explore, but since they know where their food is, they won’t go too far.
And gary is right. Rome wasn’t built in a day. I hope you can relax some this weekend!

It sounds like you’re getting things together slowly but surely. That’s the best way, I think, rather than rushing through everything and then collapsing from overwork!

You could always get them microchipped, too. In case they lose the collar somehow, as cats like to do. My cat has one.
