This is Hard Work

Paint Pealing I was putting tape on edges so I could start painting and what do you know…the old paint started pealing off. Clueless me had no idea what to do so I just left it for Erik to deal with later and moved on to another wall.Livingroom Color

I think the livingroom is looking great, I love how the color is coming out. I wish you could tell better by this picture but think of it like a chocolate milk with a bit of grey in it. I just love it and I wasn’t sure about it after we got it. I think it will work just right with the room.  What do you think?
Also, my parents basically got us our hoOld Flooring usewarming gift today. They bought us hardwood flooring to put down in the livingroom instead of the hideous linoleum. We’ll be installing it ourselves but luckily Erik knows how to do it. I won’t even tell you what a huge gift this was for us, now we just have to find time to actually install it.

I’m completely spent and we’re going back to the house because he worked all day and wants to do some more tonight. I may just do some laundry (instead of the laundramat ) and let him clean or whatever.

Why didn’t anyone tell me what hard work this was? Oh wait, you did

Might be hard work now but lookit this way, its yours and you won’t have to do that again unless you really want to. Those hard woods floors are going to be awesome what a spectacular gift!!

That is a much nicer color than what’s there. And I love hardwood floors!

What a great gift! You’ll love how the wood looks with the color you chose. And yep, it’s a lot of hard work, but that you get to call it yours makes it all worth it. 😀

I like the living room color. That’s some fugly linoleum but it’s got nothing on the orange and brown shit in my sunroom. The hardwood will look great. Sounds like a lot of work but it’ll be worth it.

Thank you. Well I’ve certainly seen much worse linoleum but I’m not loving this. It won’t be as bad once we get it out of the livingroom.

It is really hard work but I know it will be worth it once it’s done.
