We Got the House!

It hasn’t quite hit me that we’re about a month away from owning our own home.  I can hardly believe by the end of this month we’ll be painting our new home.

The house is sweet but the land is magnificent.  It’s .78 acres and surrounded by woods as you can see in the picture.  There is a lake very close to the house and we’ll have access to it.

It’s also in a cul-de-sac, which means almost no traffic at all.  Considering we’ve both lived in Main street so much in our lives this is a wonderful part of it.

Wish us luck (again) but all we have left to do is the inspection, P&S, mortgage agreement and

This is different from the last house. The last house was a verbal agreement that they backed out of it. This time the agreement was signed. Here we go baby!!

Hey, that’s terrific. You’re living in the woods!
I hope you plan to do some gardening.

I’m so excited for you! Congrats! Now you get to do all the fun stuff like the decorating and you HAVE to have a housewarming party so you can get free stuff. Take lots of pictures.

Congratulations!! Being off the beaten path and have land is the ultimate these days as they smoosh houses so close together. With a lake nearby is a bonus. So have you already decided what colors you are going to be painting the new house? 🙂

heterry – Oh you know I’ve already thought of it all. The living room I want a chocolate milk color I think, I saw it somewhere once and it was classic. Our bedroom I was a sage green…kind of like the background of this blog. I want a deep red and sage green color going on. The guestroom I’m thinking of a fun but relaxed blue. We’re debating on the small office like room to be a squash like color but haven’t decided :cheesy:
