Things That Make Me Happy
Thirteen Everyday Things That Make Me Smile :cheesy:
1. No traffic – I never really think about it so when I see that Rt 2 is almost completely clear on the way to work I can’t help but want to sing.
2. Tomato Bisque day – almost every other week on Friday is when they serve Tomato Bisque in the cafeteria and boy do I love that stuff.
3. Jen’s Buzz on the 45 – it’s a short 5 minute entertainment update (ie. Brit is prego again or so-and-so broke up) and I can’t help it but I get excited for 7:45 every morning.
4. Iced Mocha Lattes – I don’t get them every morning (I need to be a little thrifty) but when I do I love it so much I want to bathe in it.
5. My furkids – greeting me at the door when I get home or coming to bed with us at night.
6. General Hospital – I love my hour all to myself when I can watch my dvr’ed GH.
7. Nighttime conversation – going to bed next to Erik, we almost always have such great conversations before we fall asleep.
8. Romantic gestures – little romantic things Erik does and I’m not expecting.
9. Comments on my blog, any comments make me happy :grin:
10. Hearing from on a old friend, usually by email. Hell I love hearing from any of my friends…preferably good news 
11. Getting a Netflix in the mail I’ve been waiting anxiously for :hyper:
12. Stepping on the scale in the morning and seeing the numbers are smaller than before.
13. Perfect weather – not too hot, not too cold…just right. The sun is shining and everything just feels so much better.

I had a hard time finding where to leave a comment…and I don’t remember how I found it. Good list. I like comments too and the scale to just be less than it was the day before!
I agree, comments on the blog are great. Oh, and I used to be a big GH fan. I kind of strayed though…but every time I see it on the tv guide I become a little wistful.

Nice list. I lived in Santa Barbara for a few months when I was in my early twenties. I lived about a half mile from the ocean and the weather was wonderful almost all of the time. I’ll bet it would be great to garden in a place like that.

I think the day that I don’t have any traffic going to work is the day I see a pink flying elephant lol
I used to watch GH but I’m on days again so no soaps for me.
Going home to my animals is a big plus

I am starting to really wait at the door for those Netflix too. And #4… mmmm… there is this caramel thing I just discovered at my local coffee shop. Just the taste of it makes me happy about life.
