The Most Wonderful Man

I must  for a wonderful man who never ceases to astonish me. With all the house crap going on we’re both going a little :willy_nilly: but he was really on his game Monday.

In our relationship I’m often the one “taking care of things” like bills or anything that has to do with planning and making phone calls. Today a lot of calls had to be made in regards to trying to make things work with the house we want and Erik took on the brunt of it. He spent most of his Monday (his day off) making phone calls and making decisions.

Monday was definitely an up and down day. I’d get one call from him sounding optimistic and the next call sounding defeated. If you saw me at 10:00 am I looked happy but by 11:30 I looked distraught. At this point I’m positive there isn’t anything more stressful in such a short period of time as buying a house.

I may deal with a lot of the technical aspects of our life but Erik is definitely the rock. I swear he keeps me sane and he truly keeps our love alive. He gives me constant love, always believes in me and every single day does whatever he can to give us the happiest home possible :heartbeat:

I think that’s great. You’re learning each other’s strengths and weaknesses -and- seeing how nicely they complement each other to make a solid team!

Thanks Maureen – that’s a great way to put it. Sometimes I think we’re the model of a really great young relationship and othertimes I don’t know how we survive :dunno:
