House #1 update

We visited a house last night and it went pretty well.  Here’s the deal with House #1: it’s small but cozy.  It would be the kind of house we should probably consider building on in the future.  It has a LOT of land, really impressive amount of land I thought.  Most of the house is redone and nothing on the house is older than 1998, Erik said that was a really good thing.  The area is amazing, in the middle of the woods, I love seclusion.  On the bad side it’s a little above our range but that just means haggling I suppose.  It’s a LOT farther from work, which means I’d be adding at least 15 extra minutes each way.  Oh and we’d have to get rid of a lot of our stuff; meaning HUGE yard sale.  The house is very small and we’d have to find a way to get rid of a lot of stuff.

House #2 has an open house tomorrow, I will update on how that goes.

Oh and make sure to visit my new tenant, she’s got a little bit of attitude but lovable all the same 😀

I don’t know, having all these annoying neighbors, me personally, I would really think about paying that extra to have A LOT of land to keep the neighbors away. Having a smaller house though, that’s a toughy…good luck 😉

Well small is going to be inevitable at this point, it’s all we can afford but it’s making the most of a small house 😀
