7 Thoughts on “Don’t take my sigh personally

  1. One of my colleagues at work sighs all the time and it is so annoying. But it’s really because it’s a sigh that says “Oh god, I am so overworked and life is so stressful” as opposed to just a regular sigh. And I can’t help thinking that we’re all stressed at the moment but we’re not all sighing that much.

Maybe she doesn’t realise she’s doing it and can’t help it. Maybe I shouldn’t be quite so hard on her.

  2. Chris – 😆 that’s exactly what I worry people think…I try to tone down my sighing as much as possible.

  3. I’m not a big sigher (at least I think) but it’s my facial expressions that get me in trouble. My husband gets so frustrated because he says he can tell what I’m thinking by looking at my face. I had a college professor end a class early because I was giving him “the look”. Aparently I have a very expressive face. 🙄

  4. Heather – uh oh…sounds like you are about as good of a liar as I am 😀

You know I do that too!!! LOL My Dr. said it when I went in for tests one time… He asked me are you ok? I said yes why. That is when he told me that I kept sighing.

I didnt realize that is what I was doing but after my appointment I talked to my Mom and She does it too… I think it is just a thing that or I am not getting enough air or something… LOL 😆

  6. Good post. Do you sigh everywhere, or just when you’re somewhere you’d rather not be,like work?

  7. That’s a good question…I think it happens mostly at work.
