Captains and cosmopolitans
So last night was the wedding for my college buddy L and I must say it was a great time. They both looked so happy together and I had a good feeling in my heart that my friend found real happiness.
My friend K was also there, my old roommate before Erik, and we acted like we did all those years ago (immature basically). We kept telling embarrassing stories of each other and then she made all the FSC girls (including the bride) do a Captain Morgan’s shot. I have no idea how long it’s been since I’ve done a straight shot like that but damn that was harsh. Also everytime I came back to the table Erik had gotten me another cosmopolitan, I must have had at least 3. I really ddin’t think I was that drunk until the next morning where I felt like all the energy had been sucked out of my body.
It was great seeing old friends again and that we were there for the love of L. We all danced and dedicated a Greese medly to L from the “good ol days.” It’s a good thing we decided to stay in a hotel last night, I was not up for a long drive home.
Anyway, I’m so happy for her and so far all my friends who’ve gotten married seemed to have found really loving relationships. I am glad that we only seem to have a couple weddings a year at most because boy are they exhausting.
