She has some nerve

So Erik calls his mom last night to say he needs an amount of what he owes her so he can pay her back to get the money out of our hands. The problem is we are trying to get approved for a loan so we need to know how much we have to pay off the rest of our debt and what we’ll have for a down payment…we can’t know that if we haven’t paid everyone off.

She acted like a fucking child as always. She kept making excuses saying she needed to add things up and she didn’t understand the rush. She said it didn’t make any sense to do it now since Erik’s father was away (what the fuck does that have to do with it?) and that someone is borrowing the dryer we need to pay her back for?!?!

She said she’d get back to him and said she doesn’t know if it’s $8000, $10000 or $12000??? Well she’s getting a check at the end of the week one way or another I suppose even if we have nothing left. I think she’s being so unfair about this and I swear if she emails me asking me if I’m behind the push of this I will fucking going off on her.

Act like an adult! You whined about needing this money for the past three years and how your own son was an investment. We have the money, take it before we use it!

Oh man, I’m sorry about that frustation. This pretty much hits me about a raise my boss is trying to give me and the personnel manager called him today saying she doesn’t think I deserve the raise. Excuse me but if my boss puts in the request, who does she think she is to say I shouldn’t get it? It’ll probably take 6 months for it go through just like the last one I had back in 2000 :/ I hope you get everything straightened out with Erik’s mother and fast, owing money to parents is something I won’t ever do.

hterry – oh yeah I’d be bullshit too…I’m sorry for that. Maybe it’s more my mother is totally different than her. My mother doesn’t butt into my personal life and stir things up. I owe my mother probably 10x what he owes his but she doesn’t hold it over my head. As I see it I will take care of her in her old age. I just wish she’d stop acting so childish.

All I have to say about this is she is never going to grow up… she will always find something… erf!

Tell her that she has until the end of the weekend to figure it out and then she will be getting what you give… 😉

She drives me crazy to chic… she tried to get DH involved the other day.. and he was like “Nope I am not going to talk to you about it.. No mom I am not getting involved!” very forcefully… I think that she tried one more time to engage him in conversation about it cause I heard him say ok thats it I am going to hang up… LOL I almost peed it was soo funny… she talked fast and let it go… it was a short call though.. haha…

I think that she wanted to talk to me but I looked at him and said UM NO… I will not be sucked into this either…

I’m so glad you guys didn’t get yourselves involved…hell I don’t even want to be “involved.” We told her she had until the end of the week but it’s Erik’s job to finish it off…unfortunately he’s really sick right now. I don’t know if you saw The Email but it was hard to believe a mother wrote it…sounded more like a loan officer.
